CMP

CMP or Content Marketing Platform is a general marketing term.  It is also a component of Sitecore Content Hub which in the words of Brent Pinkstaff "It is a game changer."

With the launch of Sitecore 9.2 you may have heard mention of Sitecore CMP or Sitecore Content Marketing Platform and wondered what is this and how is it different then Sitecore XP.

The short answer is that Sitecore CMP is a stand-alone product and can be used to manage all of your content regardless of channel. Sitecore XP is just one channel you can add to it.  So when you create the content for that Social Media post or that blog, this is where you do it.  Now this is a very generalized answer so I recommend you check out some of the resources below for more information on how it works, how it is architected and how it is used.
